What great responses to this post. Thanks very much ladies (Libby and Lucy).

I feel relieved that reading a blog can have a positive influence on people's lives. Well, in the same way I suppose that doing the yoga itself does help us get through our lives with more ease.

One to one sessions Lucy, are always something I love doing: despite the intensity of it sometimes it works very effectively not just on the physical level, but there's something very nurturing about it. So, any time dear.

Thank you Assuntina for your beautiful, down to earth inspiration! Have just scrolled through your recent blog posts as I haven't checked in for a while and was a real treat (not just the temporary pleasure but the lasting beneficiary kind!)

Reminded me of how much I love you and reminded me of the same love in me!

And yes inspired me to return to my private practice more than I have been lately. I started out the new year with a commitment to connect daily through meditation, yoga and A Course in Miracles. These have been my true treats that truly nourish while other distractions have provided only temporary pleasure as I snuggle in bed for an extra wink or 10!

It's so good to share the human journey with others (you) who help me connect with who I am and the LOve within, and still accept and understand all the human limitations of my journey. Thankyou. Would love to attend your classes some time if any new classes fit in with my new schedule though perhaps we could book a one-to one session as I've benefited so much from this approach in the past as it created a unique private practice that fitted my individual needs. Just 10-15 mins a day has seen me through years now in a very realistic way but could do with fresh life no doubt!!! Talk soon to book in.

Much love and thanks for the blog and all you are.

I enjoyed this reflection a lot, and am feeling even more nurtured and cared for by my Yoga Teacher. Heartily agree with the need for downtime and embracing slowness, and the shadow. I am truly learing to LOVE and plan for Winter. Physically, financially, metaphorically, emotionally.

As we are all connected, your wish for the year gives rise to a similar intention for myself, in a kind of reciprocal way. All very circular and lovely. Feel a stretch coming on now!
